The largest underground metal music festival in Northeastern Pennsylvania, NEPA Metal Meltdown, returned for its second year to Diane’s Deli & Internet Cafe in Pittston, drawing bigger crowds, an incredible lineup, and a whole lot of head banging.
Friday, May 8 featured performances from Bloodeagle, Dreadful Recognition, Threatpoint, King Bison, Wrath of Typhon, Praise the Sinner, and Earthmouth.
The lineup on Saturday, May 9 featured Imperium Mortis, Prosper or Perish, Pave the Way, Assayer, Shallow Ground, Beyond Fallen, Psychoprism, and Prosody.
