Scranton’s Tigers Jaw touring with Yellowcard and New Found Glory in the fall
From a press release:
This fall, two of the hardest touring bands in pop punk – Yellowcard and New Found Glory – will be joining forces – and Scranton’s own Tigers Jaw will be with them.
“We have shared the stage with New Found Glory all over the world, but we’ve never had the chance to do a proper tour together in the States,” Yellowcard said. “After more than a decade of friendship, this tour is sure to be a highlight in both of our careers.”
In celebration of this tour announcement, Yellowcard premiered the video for “California,” taken from their latest album, “Lift a Sail,” embedded below:
Kicking off on Oct. 8 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the cross-country tour will take them to the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on Oct. 23; the Best Buy Theater in New York City on Oct. 24; the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, New York on Oct. 27; the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey on Oct. 28; and the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem on Oct. 31, so there are plenty of opportunities for local fans to support Tigers Jaw without having to drive far.
Special VIP packages are available, which include a limited edition 7-inch of New Found Glory covering Yellowcard’s “Illuminate” and Yellowcard performing New Found Glory’s “Ready and Willing” (only available as part of the VIP package), as well as a photo opportunity with both bands together, an exclusive poster, and laminate. More info can be found here.
Yellowcard are supporting their sixth album, “Lift a Sail,” on Razor & Tie. New Found Glory are supporting their eighth album, “Resurrection,” on Hopeless Records. Tigers Jaw released their latest album, “Charmer,” last year on Run for Cover Records.
