It’s an indie/punk marriage made in heaven (and it was even filmed in a church) – The Menzingers and Against Me! come together in this unexpected acoustic cover shot for the awesomely named Space Jam Sessions.

Filmed by Ally Newbold in the sanctuary of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia and edited by Zac Suskevich, the song is an unreleased B-side that vocalist/guitarist Greg Barnett found years ago on the now-defunct peer-to-peer file sharing program Kazaa. We’re thankful he still remembers it (both the song and Kazaa).

Barnett performed a stripped down version of “Rodent” from the Scranton-born band’s latest album, “Rented World,” as well:
