From a press release:

Northeastern Pennsylvania will celebrate National Yoga Month with the first annual NEPA Yoga Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., rain or shine, at Montage Mountain in Scranton.

In addition to promoting an overall healthy lifestyle, the festival is focused on yoga. It will offer a diverse array of yoga instruction for every yogi – beginner to advanced level. Classes will include exploration of Vinyasa, Kundalini, Restorative, Chakra Flow, Acroyoga, Yin, and much more, hosted by Chelsea Manganaro, owner of Nearme Yoga Studio in Moosic.

Nearme Yoga will be partnering with local studios to get NEPA on the map for health and wellness. Teachers from throughout the NEPA region will hold classes all over the Montage Mountain Water Park grounds.

Along with these 14 classes, there will be live music all day, lectures, children’s activities, as well as local vendors providing various goods and healthy food options to round out the day.

The best part about yoga is anyone can practice it. —————————————————www.nearmeyoga.com Www.facebook.com/nearmeyoga —————————————————#nearmeyoga #monkeypose #hunamanasana #uofs #scranton #feeltheyogahigh # #kingpigeonpose #summertime #yogachallenge #myworld #yogaart #yogalove #onebreathatatime #backtobackbends #fitspo #fitness #glyderyoga #girlsinyogapants #fitfam #yogababes #getbackontrack #igyoga #yogaeverydamnday #namaste #glyder #glyderyoga #girlsinyogapants #nearmeyoga #namaste #instalike #getbackontrack #yogababes #myyogalife #yogaeverydamnday #stressrelief #mindful #urbanyoga #backtobackbends @yogachannel @yogajournal Photo cred @thescottjacoby Let that shit go tank by @funkyyoga Favorite yoga pants by @glyderapparel

“The yoga community in Scranton, PA is finally getting momentum, and an event like this allows us to connect with others on a broader scale,” festival director Chelsea Manganaro said.

“The NEPA yoga community has so much passion and knowledge that we should be sharing with each other. That in itself is why you shouldn’t miss this event.”
