Description: CitruSinensis pours a beautiful deep golden amber with a frothy bright white head that leaves a thin lacing on the glass. The aroma is filled with delightful citrus fruit notes that are dominated by blood orange and have subtle hints of semi-sweet malt present in the background. The taste follows the nose but packs a ton of hop notes in the form of tropical and citrus fruits, with a lot of blood orange present throughout. The malts are semi-sweet and offer a wonderful balance to the strong hop presence. The beer presents itself almost as an IPA mimosa and is refreshing, yet still complex and highly drinkable with no appearance of the 7.9 percent ABV.
This is an absolute must-try beer for all fans of craft beer. Unfortunately, this is part of the OneHitter Series and when it’s gone, it’s gone, so be sure to grab some while you can before you miss out on a truly phenomenal beer!
Ideal setting: The strong citrus notes from the blood orange combined with the wonderfully balanced hop punch make this an absolutely perfect beer to enjoy during a late morning brunch. Sitting outside, surrounded by good friends and good food, and sipping a beer of this quality is the right start to any day.
Ideal music: There are few things more soothing than sitting outside listening to some great music with a delicious beer in hand. This is most definitely a beer that will elevate that experience and create the most relaxing afternoon when enjoyed with some relaxing indie music.
