52 acts performing over two days for free in an open field in the middle of nowhere. Yes, it was as crazy and awesome as it sounds.

Yardstock continues to grow each and every year, and the third annual independent music festival was bigger and better than ever with music kicking off at 2 p.m. and running late into the night. The lineup as scheduled for Day 1 on Friday, June 26 included Nothing Left, Wasteland Radio, Heroes & Hooligans, Already Gone, Maniac, Death Grip, Skip Monday, Send Request, Griswald, Wolves at Bay, Crisis A.D., Home Movies, Terraveer, Refuse the Conformity, Social Loafers, Pity Party, Trespassers, The Greater Victory, and Final Descent.

The night ended with an incredible set by Wilkes-Barre post screamo rockers Goodbye Soundscape, who reunited after years apart for one energetic night only. Even as a light rain started, the eager crowd held on through the very end, screaming along with every word while the band gave it their all, knowing it may be the last time they perform these songs.
