Brewsterhout Rooftop Party benefits Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre on Aug. 7

The Brewsterhout Party is back and returning to the roof on Friday, Aug. 7 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on the top level of the downtown Intermodal Center (47 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre). It happens rain or shine, so the festivities just drop down a level if Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.
The seventh annual Brewsterhout Rooftop Party is a fundraiser for the Osterhout Free Library (71 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre), which celebrated its 125th anniversary last year. Community support is needed to maintain the library and to continue providing important programs and services for adults and children alike.
Last year’s patio party was attended by almost 500 people, so this year, they are expecting a record crowd. Catch up with friends, listen to great music, sample local food and drinks, and meet with hundreds of local party-goers. There will also be basket raffles with tons of great prizes.

Buy tickets in advance at any Osterhout branch and save $5; it’s $25 at the door or $20 in advance. Price includes adult beverages, food samples from over 25 local restaurants, and entertainment by DJ Ryan Kenton.
