And the 2015 Steamtown Music Awards winners are…

As part of the Electric City Music Conference all weekend long, the annual Steamtown Music Awards were held once again at The V-Spot in Scranton on Thursday, Sept. 17, but this year’s ceremony grew significantly, with over 400+ attendees and many additional categories that were decided both online by fans and by a panel of judges.
Each winner received a newly designed award presented by Wilkes-Barre creative marketing company Coal Creative.
We’re proud to say that this year’s winners included several NEPA Scene’s Got Talent alum, including Asialena, Jenn Johnson, Skip Monday, and Andrew Merkle, and almost all the acts have been featured on NEPA Scene at one time or another within the last year. We also want to thank our readers for voting NEPA Scene founder and editor Rich Howells the Local Music Journalist of the Year. If you thought our music coverage was great this year, wait until you see what we have in store for next year.
