SHELTER SUNDAY: Meet Greyson and Revlon (pit bull puppy and hound mix) and Bella (gray tabby kitten)
Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features one dog, one cat, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.
Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.
This week, both animals are in need of very special homes.
Greyson and Revlon
Both Greyson (a.k.a. Bruno) and his shelter companion Revlon are still looking for homes. Greyson is a 5-month-old black pit puppy, and we can’t say enough about him. He is so well-mannered. He makes the perfect company for just about any human and/or canine. It’s almost as if he knows when it’s time to play, when it’s time to walk on the leash, and he can somehow sense if his canine companion wants to play or just chill. He truly is an all-around good pup.
And then we have Revlon, who is a 8-month-old female hound mix. She is a little shy at first, but after gaining your trust, you will see she is energetic, fun-loving, and has so much to offer.
Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these two sweethearts. The adoption fee is $300, which includes sterilizations, microchip, and first shots. Please share this information with anyone you know who would be a good pet parent.
She is an 8-week-old female kitten. Bella is such a beauty, and she is very sweet and playful!
