From a press release:

The Electric City Music Conference has announced a host of new bands for its 2016 multi-venue event, taking place Thursday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 17.

The list includes Psycho Nurse, Mountain Sky Orchestra, E57, Dani-elle, The Russello Project, X-Terra, Facing the Giants, One Red X, Plaid the Inhaler, Pulak, The Greater Victory, Die-Polar, The Queeftones, Jung Bergo, Ervasa, The Tellers (Tanner Snyder’s Band), Science Queen, LondonForce, Behind the Grey, Old Charades, and Family Animals.

The announcement is full of Northeastern Pennsylvania heavy hitters, with the recently reunited punk rock outfit Psycho Nurse; Jung Bergo, who performed at last year’s Fuzz Fest; Dani-elle, the 2015 Country Rising Star Nashville Award winner; and the group named Best Original Band in Electric City’s Best of 2015 Readers’ Poll, Family Animals, just to highlight a few.

The Scranton-based conference is also proud to welcome James Thomas Huy (owner of Prospect Music Group), Mark Woodbridge (co-owner of Word Is Bond Management), Tori Thomas (97.9X program director), and Brittany Boote (local concert promoter) as panelists.

Prospect Music Group, based out of New York, is an interactive record label partnered with YouTube. The label was founded by James Thomas, formerly known as Jamie Drastik, a worldwide touring artist on Pitbull’s Mr. 305, Inc. Their roster stretches from New York to California, offering a full range of music from electronic dance, hip-hop, rock, and singer/songwriter. Prospect has worldwide distribution and, through its unique artist platform, will allow fans to directly communicate with artists and become a part of the creative process.

Woodbridge is a former member of Victory Record’s band Driver Side Impact and Victory in Numbers (Bullet Tooth Records). His new management company has seen recent success when their act Abandoned By Bears inked a deal with Victory Records.
