Two-day ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ music festival raises funds for Bernie Sanders on March 18-19
For those who are feeling the Bern this campaign season, there’s a two-day concert just for you.
“Weekend at Bernie’s: A Rally For Revolution” will be held on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 from 6 p.m.-2 a.m. at Arts YOUniverse (47 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre). Both shows are all ages, with a suggested donation of $5-$10 or more that will benefit the 2016 presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders, though no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
There will be food and plenty of progressive political talk and community. The event is BYOB, and IDs will be checked at the door.
