Los Angeles hip-hop artists Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign take over Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on July 16

Real Deal Promotions and Lost Winner Entertainment will present “The Westside Takeover” with Los Angeles rappers Kid Ink and Ty Dolla Sign on Saturday, July 16.

Tickets, which are $53, $63, $83, $93, $103, $127 (standing room pit), and $202 (VIP with pre-show meet and greet), plus fees, go on sale next Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. and will be available at the Kirby Center box office (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre), online at kirbycenter.org, and by phone at 570-826-1100. Kid Ink is a Los Angeles hip-hop recording artist signed to RCA Records. He has released the independent album, “Up & Away,” an EP titled “Almost Home,” and his second studio album “My Own Lane.” The latter spawned the singles “Show Me,” “Iz U Down,” and “Main Chick.” On Feb. 3, 2015, he released his third studio album, “Full Speed,” featuring the singles “Body Language,” “Hotel,” and “Be Real.” On Dec. 25, 2015, he released a surprise fourth mixtape, “Summer in the Winter,” with the supporting single “Promise.”

Ty Dolla Sign (often stylized as Ty Dolla $ign or Ty$) is a hip-hop and R&B recording artist who is also from Los Angeles. He first gained major recognition in 2010 through his appearance on YG’s “Toot It and Boot It,” which Ty Dolla Sign wrote and produced for Def Jam Recordings. In the summer of 2013, he signed a record deal with Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Records. His latest album is “Free TC” on Atlantic Records, and he is best known for his hit singles “Paranoid,” “Or Nah,” and “Blasé,” as well as for writing the hooks to “Loyal,” “Post to Be,” “Four Five Seconds,” and more. Aside from his solo music career, Ty is also a member of production team D.R.U.G.S and a Billboard songwriter.
