It has been 19 years since the first Briggs Farm Blues Festival kicked off in the beautiful farmlands of Nescopeck, and the annual event is as fresh and enthralling as ever.

NEPA Scene photographers Tammy Heid and Robb Malloy of Moon’s Eye Media spent all three days of the event – Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10 – taking photos of award-winning blues legends and national acts, local performers from Northeastern Pennsylvania, and fans of all ages from around the country having the time of their lives.

The lineup throughout the weekend included Nikki Hill, John Primer, Cedric Burnside, Marcus King, Lonnie Shields, Anthony “Big A” Sherrod and the Cornlickers, Clarence Spady, Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, Miner Blues, J.P. Biondo of Cabinet and Roy Williams, Devon Allman, Carolyn Wonderland, Victor Wainwright and the Wildroots, Anthony Gallucio and The Retreads, Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen, The Mighty Susquehannas, Vanessa Collier, and Alexis P. Suter and the Ministers of Sound.
