On Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24, the XPoNential Music Festival, with a lineup carefully curated by award-winning Philadelphia radio station WXPN 88.5 FM, returned for its 12th year to Wiggins Park and its fourth year to the BB&T Pavilion nearby, both in Camden, New Jersey just outside of Philly.
With outdoor and indoor stages and plenty of family-friendly activities right on the beautiful waterfront, the festival attracts over 25,000 fans annually and features a variety of up-and-coming and major headlining artists across three days, encouraging people to discover new bands as the University of Pennsylvania station does through its member-supported radio programming and excellent website The Key.
NEPA Scene covered the second and third day of the festival, through rain and shine, so check out our photos from Sunday of Brandi Carlile, Old Crow Medicine Show, Femi Kuti & The Positive Force, Mavis Staples, The Districts, Oliver John-Rodgers, Low Cut Connie, the Marcus King Band, Eliza Hardy Jones, Diane Coffee, and Chicano Batman below, along with some candid moments taken throughout the weekend.
