Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Fritz

Fritz is a 4-month-old lab mix who is neutered and up-to-date on his shots.

He is playful, very friendly, and ready for adoption!

Kion and Kiara

Kion and Kiara are an 8-week-old bonded brother and sister pair that we would like to keep together. Both are up-to-date on shots and feline testing.

A little shy, these two like to be brave together and explore. They are friendly and do well with other cats and people.

If you would like to adopt these little balls of fur, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
