It was announced today through NEPA Scene that comedian, actor, radio/podcast host, and author Artie Lange will perform stand-up with the Reverend Bob Levy at a New Year’s Eve party at The Leonard Theater in downtown Scranton on Friday, Dec. 30. Presented by Laugh Out Lepka’s Comedy, local radio personality Freddie Fabbri will serve as emcee of the show, with additional acts TBA.

Doors for the 18+ event at The Leonard (335 Adams Ave., Scranton) open at 8 p.m. with an acoustic music pre-show, and the comedy show begins at 9:30 p.m. Tickets, which are $35, go on sale this Wednesday, Dec. 7 at noon and can be purchased in advance via Ticketfly or at the door.

Lange, who starred on “Mad TV” and was a regular personality on “The Howard Stern Show,” currently hosts the Artie Quitter Podcast. His film credits include “Dirty Work,” “Elf,” and “Beer League.”

He is currently working on his third book, which is due out next year.

Levy is a comedian, radio personality, and former wrestler who is best known for his appearances on “The Howard Stern Show,” as well as being the co-host of the “Miserable Men Show” on Howard 101. He has often hosted comedy roasts, was a frequent guest on “The Opie & Anthony Show,” and was a performer on “The Killers of Comedy Tour.”

Lange and Levy last performed in Scranton back in April for a veterans benefit.
