From a press release:

It was announced today exclusively through NEPA Scene that Jessie’s Girl, New York City’s ultimate ’80s tribute band, will perform at The Leonard Theater in downtown Scranton on Friday, March 24, 2017, along with a post-show party with DJ Jason Miller.

The event is 18+ and 21+ to drink. Doors at The Leonard (335 Adams Ave., Scranton) open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets, which are $18 for general admission or $23 for VIP balcony/bar seating, go on sale this Wednesday, Dec. 14 at noon and can be purchased in advance via Eventbrite or at the door.

Jessie’s Girl plays a sold-out Back to the Eighties Show every Saturday night at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village. Their primary lineup includes a team of NYC’s top rock and pop vocalists – up-and-coming superstar Jenna O’Gara, off-Broadway’s Chris Hall, and renowned “Sting” impersonator Mark Rinzel, with frequent appearances by Broadway’s own Constantine Maroulis, the Tony-nominated star of “Rock of Ages” and “American Idol” finalist.

They are backed by one of the tightest bands in the city, comprised of 20+ year veterans of the NYC music scene: Eric Presti, on guitar, Sky on keys, Drew Mortali on bass, and Michael Maenza on drums.

The band has performed with a handful of the ’80s icons that made their music famous to begin with, including Bret Michaels, MC Hammer, Colin Hay (Men at Work), Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Taylor Dane, Mike Score (A Flock Of Seagulls), Howard Jones, Tone Loc, and Rob Base. But the band doesn’t stop with Saturdays or New York City. Their weeks are filled with high-profile appearances and private events around the U.S., bringing the Back to the Eighties Show to ABC/NY Magazine’s launch party for “The Goldbergs,” a Halloween bash with Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx, and a private birthday party for A-lister Neil Patrick Harris.

They’ve enjoyed thunderous responses in packed rooms at such prestigious regional venues as Westchester’s Capitol Theatre and Long Island’s Paramount Theatre. Jessie’s Girl has also performed for prominent companies such as the NFL, Coca-Cola, Verizon, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
