After several weeks of featuring male performers in the NEPA Scene Live series at Thirst T’s Bar & Grill in Olyphant, it was time to put the spotlight on the ladies of the local arts scene.
Ladies Night on Tuesday, Dec. 13 presented a variety of different talents from strong, young female voices throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. The free event featured music by Katie Evans (joined on stage by Anthony “Shiny” Montini on the cajón and later by Ted Hebert), Awnshae Smith, and Maggie Rainey; poetry by Monica Noelle and Jess Meoni; and stand-up comedy by Angelia Petrillo, Marietta Mendler, and a surprise set by newcomer Amanda DeMasi.
