Scranton metal band Motionless In White not only released the second single from their Roadrunner Records debut today, but they’ve also announced that they’re pushing the release date of their forthcoming album, “Graveyard Shift,” up by several months.

Originally planned for the winter of 2017, the band’s fourth studio album will now come out on May 5. This may help satiate fans who have been waiting since “570,” the first single from the new record, came out last June, along with a music video the following month. That song was a direct tribute to their hometown and how they rose to international fame after a decade of hard work, and it seems that the next single, “Eternally Yours,” continues that theme in a sense.

“We are incredibly proud of this song, much like our previous single ‘570,’ we feel it embodies the heart and soul of Motionless In White, demonstrating many aspects of the evolution of the band thus far, while standing firm on the foundation we have built with our preceding records. It is collectively one of our favorite tracks of the bands entire discography,” MIW wrote on their Facebook page.

“Knowing how much passion and care has gone into the creation of this album, we can assure you that it will be worth the wait. Until then, please enjoy ‘Eternally Yours’ and all of what’s to come along the way to May 5th.”

A preview of the track released yesterday showed live video footage that looks like it may end up in a future music video:

Longtime keyboardist Josh Balz recently exited the band as they embarked on their current tour with Falling In Reverse and Issues, which stops at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City tonight and The Fillmore in Philadelphia on Saturday, Jan. 28.

Motionless In White – “Eternally Yours” lyrics:

Blow the bridge to the past / wipe the fingerprints
Melt your heart encased in wax / steal it with a kiss

Our fate engraved / scar enslaved / as we mutually destruct
Repose, my love, i’ve sinned enough for the both of us

In the name of love…

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

I feed like you taught me and selflessly swallow
We coalesce in darkness, so selfishly hollow
Examine the wreckage / writhing in tempo
Invisible anguish casting a shadow

and in the name of love…

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

As we rest in pieces, though I know not your name /
I would suffer forever to absolve all your pain

And in the name of love

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

I’m ready to bleed to make amends
And sleep in this dirt we call our bed
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To fall and rewrite the bitter end
Eternally yours

I’m more than willing to rot in hell with you.
