Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Wade

Wade is a two-year-old hound mix who is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

He loves everyone, including kids, and is very smart and obedient. Wade gets a little nervous at times, but he knows commands and his favorite thing to do is give paw.

Come meet this happy, friendly boy!

Dillion

Meet Dillion. He is a 3-year-old domestic shorthair who is neutered and up-to-date on his shots and feline testing.

Dillion is a bit of a character who loves to watch what his humans are doing and feel like he is helping. If you’re looking for someone to curl up next to you or sit in your lap, he’s your guy!

If you’re interested in adopting this sweet little guy, visit bcfanimalrefuge.org to fill out an application.
