Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Pablo

Pablo is a 4-year-old Shar Pei/pit bull mix. He originally came from Puerto Rico as a puppy and was recently returned to Blue Chip because his family is moving and cannot bring him along.

Pablo is a nervous boy and afraid of new people, but that is nothing a little time and love can’t fix. At first, he was fearful with his tail tucked between his legs, but after a quick walk and car ride, he was as happy and kissy as could be! He has lots of love to give.

He needs a home with no children due to his nerves. He seems to like all other dogs and loves his people. Come out and show this guy some love!

Juliette

Juliette is a 9-week-old kitten with long black and white hair. She is current on her vaccinations.

Juliette is a little shy, playful, curious, and undeniably adorable.

If you would like to adopt this little beauty, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
