Dallas DJ Kenton spins summertime single ‘Everytime’ at release party in Scranton on July 29

Ryan Kenton is climbing up the ladder to success alongside New York City singer/songwriter Delsa with their new hit single “Everytime,” released on Tuesday, July 25 on Apple Music, Spotify, and Google Play. With big plans and a big personality to match, Kenton is making his way from small town DJ to music producer/songwriter.
Originally from Dallas, Pennsylvania, Kenton has made his way into large city markets, landing gigs in New York City clubs, including the Highline Ballroom, Gilded Lily, and Hudson Terrace as well as Xfinity Live in Philadelphia.
In February, Kenton teamed up with Delsa to produce “Everytime,” a pop song with summery vibes and a touch of an electronic club feel. His vision for the song was a catchy radio hit, sure to have everyone dancing in the clubs. Delsa’s vocals and original lyrics provide an additional creative layer, truly bringing the song to life. After spending many days and sleepless nights recording and mixing in the studio, the first cut of “Everytime” was completed in April.
“So much goes into creating an anticipated ‘radio hit’,” Kenton said. “You have to aim for ‘perfect’ just to compete with all the great music that’s already out there. Having said that, I really like where this track ended up for us.”
Kenton met Delsa when a friend recommended she sing on one of his original tracks. Leary at first of the random idea, Kenton was awestruck and instantly ready to get to work as soon as he heard Delsa’s vocal demo.
“She literally sold me on a 30-second iPhone recording, which I immediately sent over to my manager and we booked studio time that day,” Kenton recalled.
Securing a record deal a few years ago, Delsa is not new to the music industry and brings her passion, creativity, and drive to this new project.
“As life got busy, things didn’t work out with the original deal,” says Delsa. “This time, I’m ready to make it happen and I’m more than excited for this ride!”
Music release parties for “Everytime” will be held at PHD Terrace (210 W. 55th St., New York, NY) on Friday, July 28 and at Levels Bar & Grill (519 Linden St., Scranton) on Saturday, July 29.

Having started his music career as a drummer, Ryan “Kenton” Hertel became interested in DJing and music production due to his love for all types of music. In 2012, he started playing small gigs and producing remixes. He quickly made a name for himself in his hometown and eventually moved to New York City to advance his career. Kenton now plays and travels all over the tri-state area between New York City, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and his hometown in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Nominated in the Best New Artist category in the first annual Steamtown Music Awards, winner of Electronic Act of the Year in the third annual SMAs, and made the official #KiddNation DJ for Pennsylvania, Kenton has proved himself to be one of the most in-demand local electronic acts in the state.
Influenced by the likes of Calvin Harris, Dillon Francis, The Chainsmokers, Quintino, and similar artists, Kenton produces his own original music and remixes. His music had been heard worldwide with over 56 million listeners, 100,000+ song downloads, national radio play, millions of video views, and collaborations with international artists.
In December 2014, Kenton released his remix of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space,” which quickly went viral, accumulating 250,000 plays and over 100,000 downloads in less than a month. Unfortunately, the song gained so much traction that it was removed from SoundCloud by Taylor Swift’s legal team. However, the accomplishment still exists.
Kenton made his national radio debut in October 2015, with KiddNation’s #FlushTheFormat mix. During the mix, Kenton premiered his original song “Fleek” for the first time on national radio, being heard by millions of listeners.
Kenton has been seen spinning all over the tri-state area’s hottest clubs and released his debut album on June 20, 2016.
