Greater Wilkes-Barre hosts Small Business Christmas in July with sales and artwork on July 21

The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, the Third Friday Art Walk, and the Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association will host the second annual Small Business Christmas in July on Friday, July 21.
All day, over 40 small businesses throughout Greater Wilkes-Barre will offer a special deal or discount at their store location, giving local shoppers incentive to shop small. While supplies last, participating businesses will also be giving out chances to win the Chamber’s Penguins Founder Suite for a 2017-2018 season game to customers who make an in-store purchase. To be entered to win, return these tickets to the F.M. Kirby Center (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre) lobby before 8 p.m. that night.
All participating businesses with their deals for the day are published below and information will be made available from 3 p.m.-8 p.m. in the lobby of the Kirby Center. Additionally, there will be a canned goods drive to benefit the United Way of Wyoming Valley’s, as well as children’s activities in the lobby.
In conjunction, the Third Friday Art Walk, featuring nearly 30 local artists and art vendors will be in local galleries, boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and small businesses in downtown Wilkes-Barre from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.

8. Osterhout Free Library – Kids carnival and crafts beginning at 3 p.m. Outside under the tent, there will be carnival games, circus skill toys, an arts and crafts table, sidewalk chalk drawing, snow cones, and other treats for the whole family.
