From a press release:

It’s going to be a happy new year for comedian and movie star Kevin Hart fans when The Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour kicks off on Dec. 31 in Orlando, Florida.

Produced by Live Nation, the initial 16-date run, which features new material from the comedy superstar, comes to the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7 p.m.

Tickets, which start at $71.50, go on sale this Friday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. through the NBT Bank Box Office at Mohegan Sun Arena (255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre Twp.), ticketmaster.com and livenation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, and charge by phone at 800-745-3000.

Stopping in Wilkes-Barre in 2015, Hart’s last multi-city domestic and international What Now? comedy tour sold out eight tri-state area arenas, including Madison Square Garden, Barclays, the Prudential Center, and Jones Beach, selling over 100,000 tickets in the New York market. He was also the first comedian to sell out an NFL stadium, selling over 50,000 tickets in one show. Internationally, he sold out over a dozen arenas in the European market, selling over 150,000 tickets, and sold out arenas across Australia, selling 100,000 tickets. Hart’s hit comedy tour grossed over $100 million worldwide.

2017 has been a banner year for Hart. His memoir, “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,” debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller list. To close 2017, he will appear in the Sony reboot of the classic film “Jumanji” alongside Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black.

Hart’s newest business venture is his digital platform, the LOL Network. Laugh Out Loud, the comedy brand and multi-platform network, was founded by Hart in partnership with global content leader Lionsgate.

In 2015, Time Magazine named Hart one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and he has starred in hit movies like “Think Like a Man,” “Grudge Match,” “Ride Along,” “About Last Night,” “Get Hard,” “Central Intelligence,” and “The Secret Life of Pets.”
