Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Rico

Rico is a 2-year-old Lhasa Apso mix who promises to make you smile with that cute little underbite.

While his breed can be stubborn, Rico is an exception. He is good with other dogs, people, and kids.

Rico has so much love and energy. Come out to meet him and bring your other pups!

Boo and Gomez

Boo and Gomez are 5-month-old bonded siblings who are current on their vaccinations.

These two little guys are full of love. They’re so sweet and, as you can see, strikingly handsome with their beautiful black coats!

If you’re interested in adopting these brothers, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
