Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Bond

His name is Bond, Doggie Bond, and he is a 7-year-old Labrador with a handsome tuxedo coat.

His family ran into some hard times and had to give him up, which is a bit scary for him after seven years in his previous home, so we’re hoping to find him a new one fast.

Bond is crate trained, housebroken, and gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is extremely sweet and even knows some commands.

Come and meet this suave guy!

Cookie and Cupcake

Cookie and Cupcake are 10-week-old shorthair tabbies who are up-to-date on their vaccinations.

These two sweet sisters are playful, lovable, and affectionate. They are a bonded pair, so we’d like to see them adopted together.

If you’re interested in giving these adorable siblings a new home, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
