From a press release:

Mohegan Sun Pocono has announced that it will host a grand opening celebration for the all-new Molly O’Sheas Irish Pub & Eatery in the Wilkes-Barre casino on Saturday, Feb. 3 starting at 2 p.m., preceded by a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 3 p.m.

Located near the main valet entrance, the venue will feature “authentic Irish décor, a delicious dining menu, live weekend entertainment, and one of the best beer and whiskey menus to be found in the region.” The grand opening will have various food and drink options, live music, and a chance to win a trip to Ireland.

“We’re beyond thrilled to open this new location inside Mohegan Sun Pocono for our guests. The nightlife at our property already has fantastic stops like Breakers and Bar Louie, and to now round it out with Molly O’Sheas is very exciting. We think it will quickly become a popular stop for friends and family to enjoy great company, food, drinks, and service,” Erica Tessier, vice president of marketing for Mohegan Sun Pocono, said.

Molly O’Sheas was conceptualized in the middle of 2017, and construction began in November with Somerville Construction Services, based out of Forty Fort.

Some of the beer menu highlights at Molly O’Sheas include Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, Strongbow Hard Cider, Killian’s Irish Red, and Yuengling Lager. And for whiskey lovers, Molly O’Sheas will have everything from Jameson to Tullamore Dew. Beer flights and whiskey flights will also be available.

On the eatery side, the pub will serve up comfort appetizers and entrees: Irish nachos, homemade chips, shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, reuben sandwiches, and a variety of sliders.

Its hours will be Mondays–Thursdays from 4 p.m.-midnight, Fridays from 4 p.m.-2 a.m., Saturdays from noon-2 a.m., and Sundays from noon-midnight.
