Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Renesmee

Renesmee is a 6-year-old bulldog/pit bull mix who needs a family to love.

This poor girl was abandoned in a warehouse, so she deserves a better life. She has become a volunteer favorite and is always ready to go for a walk. She loves to be around people all the time; she is dog selective and should be in a cat-free home.

Ren has a good amount of energy, so a fenced-in yard would be best. She loves to walk, run, and cuddle up with her people.

Come and meet this sweet love bug!

Molly

Molly is a young Torti who is up-to-date on her shots and testing.

She loves people, swingy toys, bouncy puff balls, and to be doted over. Molly is easygoing and ready for her own home.

If you’re interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please fill out an application at bcfanimalrefuge.org.
