Brooklyn’s Other Half Brewing and Flushing’s Mikkeller Brewing (with roots in Denmark) put all their cards on the table for All Royal Everything (Kings Edition), an Imperial IPA brewed in New York City with 2-row malted barley, wheat, and oats and “then hopped with a titillating combination of Mosaic, Citra, Idaho 7, and Amarillo” hops. (Yes, there’s a Queens Edition as well, also with artwork resembling a playing card featuring Mikkeller’s mascots!)
With this being a big city beer, the hoppy, hazy IPA flavor should be just as huge, so let’s play and see if they’ve dealt a winning hand!
