Mohegan Sun Pocono’s ongoing Reality Check series will bring Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy of the ABC dance competition television show “Dancing with the Stars” to Wilkes-Barre on Friday, March 29 at 8 p.m.

The free event showing “the power of love through dance” will feature a stunning performance by the recently engaged pro dancers, along with a moderated Q&A and autograph session in the Keystone Grand Ballroom of the casino (1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre).

Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is wristband-only. A limited number of wristbands will be distributed at the signing location starting at 6 p.m. Talent will be signing copies of headshots distributed at the event or one personal memorabilia per person; signing personalization is prohibited. An in-house photographer will be taking photos; there will be no personal photos.

The live performance and Q&A begins at 8 p.m., followed by the meet and greet at 9 p.m.

Jenna Johnson is a professional Latin and ballroom dancer and choreographer born and raised in Utah. She first gained attention in 2013 when she finished ladies’ third runner-up on Season 10 of “So You Think You Can Dance.” She continued her professional dancing career on “Dancing with the Stars,” winning her second season with her partner, Olympic figure skater and Clarks Summit native Adam Rippon.

Valentin Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian-American professional dancer, best known for his appearances on the U.S. version of “Dancing with the Stars,” which he won twice. He is a two-time World Latin Dance Champion (Junior and Youth) and a 14-time U.S. National Latin Dance champion.

In 2015, Johnson began an on and off relationship with Chmerkovskiy. In 2017, Chmerkovskiy confirmed that he and Johnson were dating again. Last June, the couple shared their engagement on Instagram.
