From a press release:

It was announced this week that Live on Mars: A Tribute to David Bowie brings the music and showmanship of the iconic “Starman” to life at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets, which are $35, $50, $60, and $160 (VIP with meet and greet), plus fees, go on sale this Monday, March 18 at 11 a.m. and will be available at the Sundance Vacations Box Office at the Kirby Center (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre), online at kirbycenter.org, and by phone at 570-826-1100. A Kirby Member pre-sale is going on now.

Following its hugely successful 2018 United Kingdom tour, Live on Mars visits North America in 2019 to continue its amazing journey celebrating the very best of iconic pop hero David Bowie: his music, artistry, style, and showmanship.

Influenced by Bowie’s legendary concert performances, Live on Mars fuses sound and vision to portray the essence of Bowie, his alter egos, and his creative muses with a stunning light show and state-of-the-art visuals and animation.

Featuring the electrifying vocals and uncanny likeness of singer and lifelong Bowie fan Alex Thomas, with a handpicked world-class band covering the Bowie back catalog from “Space Oddity” to “Let’s Dance” and everything in between, Live on Mars is the definitive show that all generations of Bowie fans have been waiting for.

The setlist includes “The Jean Genie,” “Space Oddity,” “Life on Mars,” “Ziggy Stardust,” “Heroes,” “Ashes to Ashes,” “All the Young Dudes,” “Let’s Dance,” “The Man Who Sold the World,” “Changes,” “China Girl,” “Fashion,” “Moonage Daydream,” “Fame,” “Starman,” “Rebel Rebel,” “Sound and Vision,” “Modern Love,” and “Young Americans.”

Fans can express their inner space oddities with makeup and costumes and join Live on Mars with a VIP meet and greet soundcheck package on all these 2019 shows. Each guest will be given a special VIP tour pass and 2019 tour poster and will then be invited to a private soundcheck experience.

The Live on Mars musicians will treat the VIP audience to a special bonus performance of two classic David Bowie songs not featured in the evening show, and then afterwards will meet all the guests.
