The frontmen of two influential Orange County, California post-hardcore/pop punk bands from the 1990s launched their East Coast acoustic tour at The Bog in downtown Scranton on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Popeye Vogelsang of Farside, who is now living in Peckville, and Jeff Caudill of Gameface, who flew in from California, played some songs they are known for from their previous bands as well as a few covers while sharing some personal thoughts and stories, including a funny anecdote about how Vogelsang met The Bog co-owner Brian Craig. The longtime friends and members of Your Favorite Trainwreck also performed together at the end of both sets.

Nick Osadche of Drums, Pennsylvania indie punk band For Ages opened the night. From here, Vogelsang and Caudill hit Philadelphia and will visit New York City, New Jersey, Lancaster, Albany, and Buffalo over the next week.

NEPA Scene captured each set on video as well as a few fun moments on stage and off in photos throughout the evening.
