Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre hosts Retro Dance Party on New Year’s Eve

Time marches forward, but Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre is dancing back to the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s for New Year’s Eve on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
At the Ultimate Retro Dance Party starting 9 p.m., guests can boogie on over to the dance floor of the Keystone Grand Ballroom in the Convention Center at Mohegan Sun Pocono (1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre) until the clock strikes midnight while enjoying drink specials, live entertainment, and some nostalgic music videos.
Plus, attendees can snap a picture of Prince or grab a selfie with Cher, Elton John, or Freddie Mercury as a star-studded list of impersonators perform throughout the night as 2020 approaches.
The cover charge for this event is $10 and may be paid in advance at the Mohegan Sun Pocono box office located at the Player’s Club or via ticketmaster.com. The cover can also be paid at the door the night of the event. All guests must be 21+ to attend; valid photo identification is required for entry.
Prior to the New Year’s Eve festivities, guests can enjoy a decadent dish experience at Timbers Buffet for $49.99, featuring a special New Year’s Eve celebration menu that includes New York strip steaks, veal Oscar, and a fresh seafood station with jumbo shrimp, oysters, and crab claws. Save room for delicious mouthwatering desserts, and a cash bar will also be available inside Timbers Buffet.
