From a press release:

To coincide with Valentine’s Day, Mount Pocono electro-pop artist Blaque Rose has partnered the release of his debut EP today with an animated music video aimed straight at the heart.

Animated by Brandi Meadows, “Silver Train” uses adolescent imagery like baby cherubs, spin the bottle, and picking dandelions to describe a point in your life when you’re hit with Cupid’s arrow hard enough that it pushes you right back into those nerves that you get as a child, no matter how old you are. The song is about spontaneous crushes – that butterflies fluttering in your stomach, heart-racing feeling you can get from a person you may not even know yet.

Track by track, Blaque Rose’s nostalgic synth pop riffs and echoed vocals create a beautiful combination of easy-listening and danceable beats on the new EP, titled “Super Natural.” Preceded by the single “Funky Vibe,” this album piggybacks off of several successful releases that have appealed to listeners worldwide, with many fans in London and Russia.

“Funky Vibe” was paired with its own video reminiscent of a 1980s vaporwave aesthetic, incorporating surreal imagery and futuristic scenes. The visual, shot by Denz with the Lenz and animated by well-known motion designer Anthony Esquive, adds an irreplaceable asset to the track, setting a mood for cozy winter vibes. It currently has over 98,000 views on YouTube:

“Super Natural” is an upbeat, futuristic, and eclectic view of love and the world around us. Each song is relatable to different people in different ways, which is important when trying to reach such a broad audience. The EP was co-produced in part by Nicole Ranalli and mastered by engineer and producer Will Chason.

Influenced by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, David Bowie, and Led Zeppelin, Blaque Rose delivers high-quality sounds depicting an ethos of another era. But as they say, everything eventually comes back, and Blaque Rose is just in time for the resurgence of dance music and new wave.

Hailing from the landscapes of the Pocono Mountains, Blaque Rose hit the ground running and made a name for himself in the New York City and tri-state area music scenes. Since then, he has manifested into a versatile, dynamic, and multifaceted artist with an insatiable drive and determination to make his way to the top.

Blaque Rose’s artist development process has been extremely effective with his hands-on experience approach, producing other artists and assisting many of them in getting signed. After garnering years of experience as a producer and A&R, he started setting his sights on creating his own music and is now on the path of a performing and recording artist with a love of nostalgic synth. His ability to make retro vibes sound fresh and modern has attracted a dedicated fan base from all over the world.

Blaque Rose is known for his innovative and multi-genre signature sound, combining elements of electronic, retro, punk, and pop sensibilities that are all on display in “Super Natural,” available now on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and SoundCloud:
