From a press release:

Lock up your “hamberders,” America – Randy Bobandy is back on the road this fall for another greasy “Cheeseburger Picnic.”

Randy (played by Patrick Roach) will be bringing his unique comedy performance to the venues across the country. Based on the character from the hit TV series “Trailer Park Boys,” Randy’s Cheeseburger Picnic brings a shitstorm of nonstop laughter and audience interaction. A bit of stand-up, a bit of silly contests, some classic Randy punchlines, and a chance to meet a fan-favorite “Trailer Park Boys” cast member. Oh, it also involves a lot of cheeseburgers.

A long night of greasy partying, liquor, and Sunnyvale fun is guaranteed when the tour stops at Stage West in Scranton on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The show was originally scheduled for March 20 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Doors at Stage West (301 N. Main Ave., Scranton) open at 7 p.m., and the 18+ show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets, which are $25 in advance, are on sale now via Eventbrite.

Meet and greet passes will be sold at the merch table for $20 each. Come hungry – there will also be cheeseburgers for sale.

“Trailer Park Boys” is a Canadian “mockumentary” television series created and directed by Mike Clattenburg that focuses on the misadventures of a group of trailer park residents, some of whom are ex-convicts, living in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The series premiered on the Canadian TV station Showcase in 2001 and ended in 2007 before it was revived by Netflix in 2014. A 12th season was released on Netflix in 2018, and a new season started filming in 2019 following the debut of “Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series.” The show also produced several movies and specials.

Randy is the shirtless assistant trailer park supervisor alongside Jim Lahey (played by John Dunsworth). Additionally, Randy is known for being able to eat 15 cheeseburgers in one sitting and has apparently done so on multiple occasions. He also smokes large quantities of marijuana and lives with Mr. Lahey in the supervisor’s trailer most of the time.

Patrick Roach previously visited the area with John Dunsworth on their “No Pants Unpissed” U.S. tour, which stopped at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on April 10, 2017. Dunsworth passed away on Oct. 16, 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the age of 71. After his death, Roach created his own stand-up comedy variety show, Randy’s Cheeseburger Picnic, that started touring in 2018.
