From a press release:

Today, Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre announced the return of its popular Party on the Patio outdoor concert series, which features a variety of rock tribute acts every Thursday night.

From June 3 through Sept. 2, guests can enjoy live entertainment, experience a variety of food truck options, and stay refreshed with drink specials. As always, there is no cover charge for these live shows.

Upholding the highest safety standards for all guests and team members, Mohegan Sun Pocono will adhere to state, local, and CDC guidelines, including operating at reduced capacity and enforcing social distancing at Party on the Patio events. Masks will be required at all times except while eating or drinking. Entry may be denied due to capacity limits and/or failure to adhere to health and safety standards, which are subject to change.

Party on the Patio was canceled last summer due to the global pandemic, so this summer, redemption comes in the form of an extended lineup of artists. In addition to some of the best tribute bands in the country, Badfish is making their Party on the Patio debut on July 1 with Sublime’s greatest hits. The following week, Almost Queen is set to bring the best of Queen to Mohegan Sun Pocono for the first time since 2016. Like their drive-in concert at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza last year, Almost Queen will be joined by opening act Philadelphia Freedom, a tribute to Elton John made up of Northeastern Pennsylvania natives.

Local food trucks will be featured each week, and Tony Luke’s will also be serving classic Philly cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks all summer long. Coors Light, Blue Moon, and a variety of spirits and mixed drinks will also be available.

Hosted by Scranton classic rock radio station The River 105, the Party on the Patio lineup is subject to change. Doors for each event open at 6:30 p.m., and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. All attendees must be 21 and over, and valid identification is required for entry.
