Plains pop punks Into Sunday play EP release show at Karl Hall in Wilkes-Barre on March 12

Wilkes-Barre music venue Karl Hall is reopening in January, which means Barnstorm Booking is returning as well.
The local promoter’s first concert since February of 2020 will be a release show for “When It’s Over,” the new four-song EP by Plains pop punk band Into Sunday, on Saturday, March 12.
“We’re a band from Plains, PA. We formed about five years ago, and we primarily make emo/pop punk music. We just really love playing and making music together. It really ties us all together, and we all really love it,” the group told NEPA Scene.
“As far as the show goes, this is going to be our first show in a while, and it’s our first one since our EP released in November, so we’re really excited and ready to bring the house down with this one!”
Fellow pop punks Second Suitor, Stay Loud, and Starving Hysterical Naked will open the all-ages show.
“All we can say is it’s good to be back. We can’t wait to rock out with everyone again. It’s been a long time, and we missed you all,” Barnstorm Booking owner Brian Kelly stated.
Doors at Karl Hall (57B N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre) open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets, which are $10, can be purchased at the door. This event is BYOB for those 21 and over. Second Suitor is a punk rock trio from Binghamton that embodies the high energy of ’90s pop punk. Melodic with an all-around positive attitude behind their music, their performances don’t ever lack energy and good vibes.
“Glad to be back playing shows and glad to be back to Karl Hall after two and a half years. Be safe, get vaxxed, and wear a mask. Sprankles,” they said.
Stay Loud is a Wilkes-Barre-based band that has been playing loud punk rock music in the area since 2017.
“This past year, we’ve mainly focused on recording a new album and haven’t performed much. We are excited to come back to Karl Hall! It’s one of our favorite venues, and the shows there are always mega fun!”
Starving Hysterical Naked is an indie punk band “based out of the poorest household in the small, upper middle class town of Mountain Top, PA,” they described.
“After a long, terribly dormant period in between the announcements of new strains of the coronavirus, we’re extremely excited to play our first show in over a year and debut some new material in support of the excellent talent around us.”
