From a press release:

New tribute bands will join local favorites for an extended version of Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Party on the Patio summer concert series.

Announced today, the popular weekly shows are set to kick off on Thursday, June 1 and continue every Thursday through Sept. 14. Rock music fans who are 21 and over can gather at the outdoor concert venue at the Wilkes-Barre casino for a party like no other, hosted by DJ Tommy from Scranton classic rock radio station The River 105.

This year’s lineup has been expanded to 16 weeks of live tribute bands, and Completely Unchained (a tribute to Van Halen), Fooz Fighters (a tribute to Foo Fighters), and Country Legends (a tribute to Keith Urban and Garth Brooks) will make their Party on the Patio debut.

Local fan favorites Philadelphia Freedom (a tribute to Elton John), The Idol Kings (a tribute to Journey/REO Speedwagon), Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentleman (a tribute to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan), and Bon Poison (a tribute to Bon Jovi and Poison) are just a few bands set to rock the stage.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7:30 p.m. There is no cover charge for Party on the Patio. Following the show, the party continues inside with DJ Tommy at Breakers.

After dancing up an appetite, guests can stop by the Mohegan Pennsylvania food tent for freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs or visit a different local food truck each week, including Wicked Pissah Lobster Company, Scarlet Fire Authentic Neapolitan Pizza, Ray’s Porketta, Eat Up Now, D’s Diner on Wheels, 2Wayz One Passion, and Hot Potatoes. Coors Light, Blue Moon, Patio Punch, and a variety of seltzer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase.

Great music, Sunsets and Cold beer all at an awesome organized venue. Local food trucks and “the longest bathroom line since the St Patrick’s day parade!” So tip those bartenders and thank the security personnel for making this a summer mandate! x16 for the win.
