Singer/songwriter Beabadoobee has been on a skyrocketing trajectory to indie pop stardom over the past few years and has received widespread acclaim for her artistry, leading to her opening for Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour last year.

She is back in the United States this fall for a headlining North American tour that starts with a sold-out concert at The Met Philadelphia on Sunday, Sept. 8 with Hovvdy.

Born in the Philippines and raised in London, Beatrice Laus has emerged as a British alternative pop icon. With two lauded albums and five diverse EPs, she has garnered BRIT Award and BBC Sound Of nominations and won NME’s 2020 Radar Award. Her highly anticipated debut album “Fake It Flowers” was released in 2020 to widespread critical acclaim and debuted in the Top 10 of the United Kingdom charts.

Her 2022 follow-up “Beatopia” is a fantastical yet deeply personal world that was formed in the imagination of a 7-year-old Beabadoobee and has been carried with her ever since. “Beatopia” debuted in the Top 5 of the U.K. charts and came accompanied by her biggest sold-out U.K. tour to date, a huge sold-out North America tour, and shows in Australia and Asia, as well as performances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and NPR’s “Tiny Desk” concert series.

Receiving global praise for “Beatopia” and gracing the covers of The Face, GQ Hype, UPROXX, and NME, Beabadoobee has also shared stages with The 1975, Halsey, and Clairo and has played at some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Governors Ball, Summer Sonic, and many more, plus brand campaigns with Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, Coach, Ray Ban, Adidas, Clarks, Heaven, Praying, and more. With five billion streams worldwide and an 8.5 million+ social reach, Beabadoobee has built a massive, dedicated Gen Z fan base.

During the summer, she debuted new music on the U.K.’s biggest stages, headlined the New Music Stage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, headlined the Radio 1 Stage at Reading and Leeds, and served as main support for Mitski at London’s All Points East festival. This follows her main support slot on the opening North American leg of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and the release of her recent singles “The Way Things Go,” “A Night to Remember” with Laufey, and Top 40 hit “Glue Song.”

On Aug. 9, Beabadoobee released her third album, “This Is How Tomorrow Moves,” via English independent label Dirty Hit. In support, she is set to bring her incomparable live show to major cities coast-to-coast, beginning with Philly before heading to Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Denver, Washington, D.C., and more, including New York City’s Central Park SummerStage.

Produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, “This Is How Tomorrow Moves” captures a journey through confidence and introspection, with themes of self-acceptance and personal growth woven throughout. It stands as a testament to Beabadoobee’s artistic evolution, resilience as a performer, and growth as a songwriter. The cinematic music video for lead single “Take a Bite,” directed by Jake Erland, indulges a desire for chaos despite the self-awareness of bringing past negative cycles into something new.
