As clouds gathered and fall weather crept through the darkened window with spine-tingling chills and a lingering sense of dread, Mountain Top singer/songwriter Zeu tore down his haunting collection of gothic dark wave and neofolk tunes with an acoustic guitar and harmonica for Episode 6 of NEPA Scene Sessions, including selections from his new album “Body Songs.” Candles burned around Matthew Zedolik while he removed humanity’s mask and peeled back raw layers of desire and despair in this increasingly apocalyptic world.

NEPA Scene Sessions is an acoustic music series filmed live in our studio in downtown Scranton. Featuring the work of local solo artists and bands in an intimate, stripped-down format, each song is recorded in one take following a brief introduction by the performers.
