In-demand party band Go Go Gadjet plays fundraiser at Ritz Theater in Scranton on Nov. 21

From a press release:
When it comes to bringing a fresh and unique approach to private event entertainment, Go Go Gadjet is entirely in a class of their own. With the combination of elite musicianship, fast-paced mashups, exciting performers, and modern lighting/imagery, they have developed an event experience that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
Whether it’s their 30 songs in 30-minute “Power Hour” medleys, their audience-engaging LED drum routines, the stunning lighting and video displays, or their ability to modernize timeless classics to match the vibe and energy of today’s biggest hits, the Reading-based band has become the act to book for private events, though anyone 18+ can attend their next gig.
The Abington Community Library is hosting Groove & Give – a groovy fundraiser with one of the most sought-after cover bands on the East Coast – on Thursday, Nov. 21 at The Ritz Theater in downtown Scranton.
Scranton magician Denny Corby will serve as guest MC, and Mountain Top country singer/songwriter Gracie Jane Sinclair will open the show with her trio.
Doors at The Ritz (222 Wyoming Ave., Scranton) open at 6:30 p.m., and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, which are $30, are on sale now via Eventbrite. All proceeds will be used to upgrade and modernize the Clarks Summit library’s community work areas.
Blending the rhythms of dance music with familiar melodies from the past and present, Go Go Gadjet straddles the line between band and DJ like few others. Their innovative combination of traditional instruments with modern synths and controllers has allowed them to craft a sound and presentation that is uniquely their own. A decade on the road has molded them into an entertainment machine. They are trendsetters in their industry, and their show is the definition of “epic.”
Continually reinventing their stage design, their visual display rivals that of a nationally touring act. They believe that imagery and music go hand in hand. With careful thought and planning, the group works to create captivating visuals that complement and enhance the live experience. Their aim is to provide audiences with an audio/visual escape.
In 2017, Go Go Gadjet partnered with Coors Light to promote their debut single “Make You Feel Good.” The Coors Light #ClimbOn campaign featured up-and-coming artists who have overcome challenges and obstacles in pursuit of their passion. This partnership helped push the band’s Spotify streaming totals to well over 200,000 – now that number is nearly 3 million on just their Top 10 tracks alone.
In just 2022, the band received over 550 booking inquiries, and they currently have 35,000+ Facebook followers and 20,000+ Instagram followers, a testament to their loyal fans and exceptional appeal. A favorite among companies such as Viacom, Paramount, WWE, and the Philadelphia Phillies, to name a few, Go Go Gadjet has played to crowds of over 10,000 at events and festivals around the country and abroad, creating incredible memories for all in attendance.
