‘Killers of Kill Tony’ stand-up comedy show slays F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Aug. 22

From a press release:
It was announced today that regulars and fan favorites from “Kill Tony,” the “No. 1 live podcast in the world,” are taking their stand-up comedy show on the road with “Killers of Kill Tony,” coming to the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, Aug. 22.
In each episode of “Kill Tony,” comedians Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban, usually joined by celebrity guest hosts, randomly draw names from a bucket of aspiring stand-up comedians who are given the opportunity to perform a minute of stand-up comedy for the panel and a live audience, followed by an interview. Comics who perform well can become regulars on the show, which premiered in 2013 and currently generates over 2 million downloads per episode.
Building upon the success and energy of the show, “Killers of Kill Tony” showcases the diverse talent pool of comedians who have graced the stage of the original podcast with their wit, humor, and unique comedic styles. “Killers of Kill Tony” will feature fan-favorite characters doing their longer stand-up sets, all in one night.
The current lineup includes Ari Matti, Hans Kim, Martin Phillips, Kim Congdon, and David Jolly, though this is subject to change.
Doors at the Kirby Center (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre) open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m.
