The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, and New Found Glory play at Montage Mountain in Scranton on July 20

From a press release:
On the heels of selling out global shows for forthcoming Australia, Europe, and United Kingdom tours, punk rock legends The Offspring announced the North American leg of their Supercharged Worldwide in ’25 Tour today.
The 34-date run, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on Friday, July 11 in West Palm Beach and will continue across the country to some of its most iconic venues, including New York’s Northwell at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 3 and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Aug. 29. Special guests Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory are joining them on all dates, including Sunday, July 20 at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain (1000 Montage Mountain Rd., Scranton).
The tour celebrates an incredible year for The Offspring as they released their latest album, “Supercharged,” reached historic milestones (with multiple songs joining the coveted Spotify Billions chart), traveled around the globe (joined by some famous special guests), and their song “Make It All Right” hit No. 1 on not only the Alternative Rock chart, but the Alternative Airplay chart, Active Rock chart, and the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. The band continued to cement their legacy as one of the most popular punk acts of all time as they performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “CBS This Morning” and were featured in Men’s Health, USA Today, Billboard News, “Artist Friendly” with Joel Madden, “Bertcast” with Brett Kreischer, and more.
Not to mention, over the past year, frontman Dexter Holland joined fellow punk legends NOFX on stage for their final show in Los Angeles, and the 59-year-old vocalist/guitarist surprised fans when he performed “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” with fellow California natives The Beach Boys at the Oceans Calling festival in Ocean City, Maryland.
The Offspring also had a string of their special guests joining them on stage, including Yungblud at Switzerland’s Open Air Gampel for their 1994 hit “Self Esteem,” Ed Sheeran at BottleRock Napa Valley for 2000’s single “Million Miles Away,” and Queen’s Brian May for a rendition of 1997 hit “Gone Away” and a cover of Queen’s “Stone Cold Crazy.” A packed year with so many milestones has led up to this highly anticipated run of shows in 2025.

The Offspring is a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California that formed in 1984. Originally called Manic Subsidal, the band’s lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Noodles, bassist Todd Morse, drummer Brandon Pertzborn, and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Nimoy. Over the course of their longstanding career, they have released 10 studio albums and are often credited – alongside fellow California bands Green Day and Rancid – for reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the 1990s. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling rock bands in history.
Jimmy Eat World is an alternative rock band from Mesa, Arizona consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins, guitarist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. The four-piece’s commercial breakthrough came with the release of several singles from their 2001 album “Bleed American,” with “The Middle” hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart and peaking at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, where it spent 33 weeks total and became RIAA-certified platinum. Their 2004 follow-up, “Futures,” featured “Pain,” which also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart.
In 2019, the band released their 10th album, the critically acclaimed “Surviving,” which became one of three “chapters” of their 2021 globally streamed series “Phoenix Sessions” that also included “Futures” (Chapter V) and 1999’s “Clarity” (Chapter III) performed in their entirety. Recently, they’ve released two independent singles, “Something Loud” and “Place Your Debts,” with the former charting on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay.
As New Found Glory can attest, life moves quickly. Just three years after forming in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997, the group was fast-tracked from local upstarts to mainstream stars on the back of ebullient pop melodies and hardcore-tinged breakdowns, setting off a blast of pop punk dynamite that still lights the torch for modern acts more than two decades later. They became the voice of an underground movement, spurring iconic gold and platinum records (2000’s “New Found Glory,” 2002’s “Sticks and Stones,” and 2004’s “Catalyst”), countless MTV appearances, an entire subgenre (easycore), and sold-out tours the world over.
New Found Glory has always been about the same thing – honesty, community, and positivity. After 25+ years of being a band, 11 studio albums, one live album, one Christmas album, one acoustic album, two EPs, and four cover albums, their ethos has never wavered; they always strive to be the friend that fans need who always understands them.
