From a press release:

Music fans who are thankful for pop punk in their lives won’t want to miss multi-platinum Maryland quartet All Time Low when they come to Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre with fellow scene staples Mayday Parade and Four Year Strong during Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.

Beginning as a band of high school friends in 2003, All Time Low has become a generational icon with anthemic hits like “Dear Maria, Count Me In,” “Weightless,” and “Monsters.” Their blend of high-energy performances and emotionally honest songwriting continues to resonate with longtime followers and new listeners alike, cementing their place as one of the genre’s most iconic and enduring acts.

“These bands have been major icons in defining voices of a generation,” said Justin Topa, director of marketing for Mohegan Arena.

“Whether you’re a millennial or millennial at heart, this show promises some infectious energy, emotional singalongs, and an unforgettably nostalgic night.”

While ATL rose to popularity more than 20 years ago, they continue to release hit songs that resonate with a global and loyal fanbase. Yesterday, the group released their newest single, “Suckerpunch,” which has become an instant streaming success.

Tickets for this stop on their Everyone’s Talking! Tour, which also features rising punk band The Paradox, start at $44.50 and go on sale next Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com and in person at the NBT Bank Box Office at the arena (255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre Twp.).

Chart-toppers All Time Low – vocalist/guitarist Alex Gaskarth, guitarist Jack Barakat, drummer Rian Dawson, and bassist Zack Merrick – embark on a bold new era with the release of “Suckerpunch,” out now via their own imprint, Basement Noise Records, in partnership with Photo Finish Records/Virgin Music Group. Sonically all arena-rock bombast and lyrically sentimental, the single – co-produced by their frontman alongside Dan Swank – signals a thrilling new chapter for the rock outfit, who have sold more than 3.5 million albums in the United States alone and have garnered over 5 billion streams worldwide to date.

“‘Suckerpunch’ is a song about getting knocked down so many times that you learn to wear your bruises like badges,” Gaskarth said.

“The music and tone of the song are so intentionally steeped in overconfident swagger, while the lyrics tell a very different story about stepping into the ring with an opponent twice your size, waiting for the bell to ring with a smile on your face. It’s saying, ‘I have been so many different things for you, why not be your punching bag as well?’ I wanted to marry the grit and punch of an arena rock song with moments of Quincy Jones and Genesis. … That culminated in a song that felt like kicking the door down, so we knew this had to come out first.”

ATL additionally released the official music video for “Suckerpunch” which, like the song itself, is both electrifying and sentimental. The video made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop, and on the Paramount Times Square billboards today and centers on “Axel,” a legendary stuntman who looks back at the most death-defying stunt of his career.

The group heads out on tour this fall for a just-announced nationwide headlining run. Produced by Live Nation, the Everyone’s Talking! Tour will kick off on Oct. 4 in Missoula, Montana with support from special guests Mayday Parade, The Cab, Four Year Strong, and The Paradox across select cities. The more than 30-date outing includes appearances at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Oct. 12), When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas (Oct. 18-19), and Vans Warped Tour in Orlando (Nov. 16).

It has been a momentous era for All Time Low. In addition to working on new music, the band celebrated its 20th anniversary last year with the release of “The Forever Sessions Vol. 1” through Basement Noise Records. The new album featured rerecordings of the band’s greatest hits from the early part of their career, including “Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL’s Version).”

Since their inception, All Time Low has shattered records, topped charts, sold out arenas, and carved out a fervent fanbase along the way. Their catalog consists of five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200, in addition to picking up multi-platinum, platinum, and gold certifications. Speaking to their impact, Rolling Stone named “So Wrong, It’s Right” among its “50 Greatest Pop Punk Albums.”

In 2020, they ascended to a new commercial and critical high watermark with their eighth full-length LP, “Wake Up, Sunshine.” Following a No. 1 debut on the Top Rock Albums chart, it spawned the biggest hit of the band’s career thus far, “Monsters” (featuring Blackbear). It clinched No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart for an unprecedented 18 weeks, emerging as the longest-charting song ever on the modern rock format. In addition to going platinum, it notably garnered Alternative Rock Song of the Year at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, while superstar Demi Lovato teamed up with the group for the official remix.

The band also captivated audiences with explosive sets at Bonnaroo and Firefly, along with unforgettable appearances on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Ellen,” “Good Morning America,” and more.

Earlier this year, Mayday Parade hit the road to celebrate their own two-decade career with the Three Cheers for 20 Years Tour. Beloved for their emotionally charged songwriting and unforgettable live performances, Mayday Parade has soundtracked the lives of millions since their debut in 2005. From the platinum-certified “Jamie All Over” to fan favorites like “Miserable at Best” and “Oh Well, Oh Well,” their music has cemented their status as one of the most influential bands in the emo and pop punk genres.

While celebrating their milestone anniversary, they also released the first chapter of their highly anticipated three-part album “Sweet” on April 18, featuring the soaring new single “By the Way.”
