Rebranding the team for one night only to reflect local history, the “Steamtown Gandy Dancers” (old slang for railroad workers) hammered home a first-round bye in the Calder Cup Playoffs on the fourth annual Community Night at Mohegan Arena last night. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins clinched second place in the Atlantic Division, led by two goals from Aiden McDonough and 25 saves by Joel Blomqvist.
