About 200 music fans were lined up outside when Gallery of Sound opened its doors at 9 a.m. for Record Store Day on Saturday, April 18, and the Wilkes-Barre store remained just as busy throughout the day, culminating in a serene acoustic performance by Ben Walsh and Brianna Collins of Scranton indie rock band Tigers Jaw that included songs from their new album, “Lost on You,” played live for the first time in that stripped-down format.
Singer/songwriter Mike Quinn (Okay Paddy, And The Moneynotes) and local bands If Kansas Had Trees and 1-800 BITCH opened the free all-ages show, providing a great selection of original music on and off the shelves.
