As the proud media sponsor of the 2015 NEPA Metal Meltdown festival, NEPA Scene is thrilled to announce the official lineup for the second annual event.
Organized by Beyond Fallen vocalist Joe Karavis and guitarist Steve Jasuilewicz, the local festival created by metal bands for metal bands and their fans will return to Diane’s Deli & Internet Cafe (206 S. Main St., Pittston) on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. The roster consists of bands from Northeastern Pennsylvania and out-of-state, each carefully selected from the deluge of applicants they received.
“We put together a killer lineup this year; there’s a lot diversity in styles. I know Steve had countless bands wanting to get on this – it was really tough because some very good bands simply did not get on. We don’t ask bands, generally; they all apply and submit their stuff for review,” Karavis told NEPA Scene.
“I’m excited to see these bands; we have a lot of talent lined up. It’s going to be a blast. Last year was fun – this year we cranked it up another notch!”
