Mount Airy Casino Resort hosts New Year’s Eve party in new event center/ballroom in Mt. Pocono

Mount Airy, the Poconos’ AAA Four-Diamond casino resort, invites guests to ring in the new year in its newly opened 20,000-square-foot event center and ballroom. Partygoers will enjoy craft cocktails and live entertainment from Those Amazing Decades and DJ AJ Stack.
The New Year’s Eve celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. will include a complimentary champagne toast, midnight balloon drop, and mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres like grilled shrimp skewers, tomato and fresh mozzarella bruschetta, sesame chicken bites, and more – all for only $35 a person. It promises to be the best New Year’s party in the Pocono region.
Party in the area’s newest high-end event space, which was part of the resort’s recent $40 million expansion. The space boasts a custom 30-foot-long, hand-forged steel and glass ribbon chandelier. In addition to the stunning light fixtures, guests will gravitate to the focal bar, which features a sculptural carved wood bar face, organic marble countertop, and a stunning backdrop featuring halo-lit, upholstered panels.
Those Amazing Decades is a celebration of 30 years of music. The band takes listeners on a musical journey, starting with 1970, and play a hit song for each year, leading up to 1999. That’s over 30 songs in one-action packed, entertaining show. And as a added bonus, the decades “guide” serves as an emcee, guiding the crowd and pointing out various interesting music facts that helped shape the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. With a nine-piece cast, including three separate lead vocals, Those Amazing Decades puts on a unique show that everyone will want to experience.
