WWE SmackDown returns to Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on May 13

It was announced today that WWE and the Superstars of “Friday Night SmackDown” will return to Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township on Friday, May 13 at 7:45 p.m.

Roman Reigns will go up against Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship, and Ronda Rousey and Naomi will take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville.

Intercontinental Champion Ricochet, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, The New Day, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sasha Banks, and more are also set to appear at this event, though the lineup is subject to change.

Offering “the best value in entertainment,” tickets start at $20, plus fees. Tickets and Ringsider packages go on sale this Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. online at ticketmaster.com and in person at the NBT Bank Box Office at Mohegan Sun Arena (255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre).

“Friday Night SmackDown” came to Mohegan Sun Arena just before Halloween last year, featuring Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sasha Banks, Shotzi Blackheart, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Shayna Baszler, Naomi, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, Rick Boogs, and more.
