Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Dorothy

Hiya! I’m Dorothy!

I’m the newbie at the farm, and they say that I can find a home here. I’m only about 3 months old, so I’m not even sure what a home is, but it sounds nice! So if you know where a little German shepherd mix like me can find one of those home things, let me know!

Carly

Carly is a 2-year-old calico cat. She loves attention, but only to be given to her. Carly would do best as the only pet!

Carly is a sweet girl with a cat attitude awaiting her furever home. If you’re interested in Carly, please contact us at 570-333-5265 or visit our website to fill out an application.
